Easy-Clean Glass

After lengthy research and development work, we have succeeded in creating a cleaning-assisting glass with a dual mode of functioning – UNIGLAS^® | CLEAN Activ.

During the manufacturing process of UNIGLAS^® | CLEAN Activ, a special coating is firmly attached to the outside of the glass. The robust coating is hard-wearing, weather-resistant and lasts as long as the actual insulation glass unit, if treated correctly.

Many advantages for more cleanliness:

• first available glass in the world with two natural processes for cleaning (photo-catalytic and hydrophilic effect)
• the coating is permanent due to the “blast furnace process” and functions continually, independent of the weather
• time-consuming and costly cleaning is markedly reduced
• environmentally friendly, because natural UV radiation and rain are used for cleaning
• improvement of the living and/or working climate due to the neutral appearance, compared with conventional glass, because the properties are hardly influenced
